We are expanding the universe step by step: the synopsis is being finalised, characters and visual language are being sharpened, and the first moving-image tests and a pilot trailer are in production. The idea

Imagine: Mozart drumming on everything that makes a sound, Freud asking far too many questions, and Sissi galloping through the garden on a horse, again. Welcome to the Little Legends of Austria, a chaotic, lovable gang of geniuses who happen to be children.

Each character brings their own magical superpower: music, colour, science, dreams, justice, adventure and royal charm. Together they stumble into stories that are sometimes funny, sometimes thrilling, sometimes astonishing, and always reveal something about the great personalities they will one day become.

Whether they have to stop Mozart from turning the city into a concert, help Freud crack the code of dreams, or get Bertha von Suttner to make peace again, the Little Legends tackle every adventure in their own quirky way. Along the way they discover not only their powers, but also how much they can achieve together.

The series combines history, humour and fantasy: children learn about Austria's greatest minds while adults enjoy the historical references. An ensemble that shows: even the greatest legends were once small dreamers with far too much energy.

Concept

"Little Legends of Austria" brings the most famous personalities of Austrian history to the screen as children, in an animated series format full of humour, adventure and educational moments. Their lives, achievements and influence on Austria and the world are retold: exciting, inspiring and contemporary.

Austria is a small country with an astonishing number of geniuses. This series shows how they shaped the world, the challenges they overcame and why their stories are still relevant today.

A special narrative highlight: the characters possess magical abilities that symbolise their real talents and creative impact. Together they must discover and master these powers, a captivating blend of knowledge, fantasy and adventure.

The concept is endlessly expandable: future seasons or films can be adapted for other countries, such as "Little Legends of Switzerland" or "Little Legends of Spain". Next, the stories can extend to entire continents, before legends from around the world ultimately come together for one big, shared adventure. The result: a series that celebrates local history, connects cultural diversity and makes global identity tangible through play.
